The Family (2013)

Watch The Family: In New York, mobster Giovanni Manzoni makes a deal with FBI agent Robert Stansfield and snitches on his mafia family. In return, Giovanni is included in the witness protection program and receives a new identity, Fred Blake. Best Robert De Niro Movie I've seen in a good while. Really funny, really good.

1.5 (MAYBE MAYBE 2 but thats a very low 2) stars out of 5. From the commercials was anticipating a very good mob movie ESPECIALLY considering Robert Dinero is in it and the movie is called THE FAMILY. Giving that MOB feel for it, just wasn't up to par with what people had in mind I'm guessing. Certainty not for me at least. It's like a kids MOB movie. And the story line takes turns where there is no explanation what so ever and doesn't make any kind of sense. I did like some parts that were pretty cool and i like the story line how it is but they just take turns and angles that just mess it up. THUMBS DOWN
